Twin Valley Farm has been family run since 1965. A small dairy then, with a barn milking 44 Holsteins, a fine team of Belgium work horses, chickens, a garden and allot of love for the land, which is one thing that hasn't changed.  

In 1976 Mike and Sandy Bruder took over the farm and many changes were brought underway. Two additions where made bringing the 44 cow barn to a 100 cow dairy. A manure lagoon was put in place as well as five machine, storage and livestock buildings. Though Mike and Sandy had both been raised with horses, The Bruders' did not begin raising and breeding Quarter Horses until 1988 with the purchase of Jona Impress, a branded own daughter of Impressive out of an own daughter of Wiescamps Skip A Barb. Jona was purchased with a day old foal by her side, Sonnys Impressiveone, an own son of Sonny Dee Bar whom was our first raised breeding stallion.  Later, looking for a modern western pleasure stallion, many trips were made to Bob Perry Quarter Horses in Gainsville, TX breeding to Zippo Pine Bar and Zips Chocolate Chip in the early 1990's until  satisfied with 3 remarkable colts; Chips In Time, Impress Me Good, and Zippin In The Son, all three of which now stand at Twin Valley Farms. 

Our broodmare band is now nearing 30 strong, many of which have come from  various parts of the nation.   In 1996 Bison were introduced to the Bruder farm and today it herd is still growing larger. 

The farm today is run by Sandy Bruder and her family, Tanya, Sarona, Carla, and Jason Bruder.  

Upon a visit you can see why it is called Twin Valley...  We have two large valleys, one where the homestead lies, the other where the 'Buffalo Roam'.
